Truly an amazing book. Not only is it gorgeous and easy to use, it has wonderful historical relevance. If you're looking for a piece of history this is a great place to start.

A good resource book for the historian and especially the modeler.

I liked this book. I couldn't give it five stars simply because it needs to tell a bit more history of the units it covers, but it stops short. That may make you take pause, but don't! It's a good resource book that shows personnel listings ( COs, etc.), unit crests, squadron badges and designator colors and color schemes for the aircraft operated in the PTO very nicely,from just prior to the start of hostilities to the conclusion of operations against Japan. I even discovered some unique color schemes that would make eye catching model subjects. A picture is worth a thousand words it's been said. Proof is here, but personally, I would have liked to have had a couple of thousand words more to cover a bit more history. If this sounds like what you would like, IT PROBABLY IS, so give It a look.
